• Client: Kiska/Husqvarna
  • Our Role: Clay Modeller

Working in-house at Kiska, the Aero 401 clay was developed with designer Marcello Basilio. Nick was resposible for the clay development before it was scanned and handed off to the digital modelling team to make parts for 3D printing.

It was unveiled in November at the 2016 EICMA show in Milan to a very positive response from the press:

“The Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 Aero is blowing my mind right now.” (Asphalt & Rubber)

“The Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 Aero Concept Is The Cafe Racer Of Our Dreams – Now this is how you do a fairing” (Cycleworld)

“…there’s one motorcycle that’s clearly a crowd favourite. The Husqvarna Aero 401 is the companies faired version of the cafe racer styled Vitpilen 401.” (Return of the Cafe Racers)
